This is the project website and blog for the Antislavery Usable Past project. The project is an AHRC-funded five-year research grant to the Universities of Nottingham and Hull. We are exploring how the successes and failures of the antislavery past can be useful to the antislavery present.
This site includes commentaries on different aspects of the project, by both our team and our partners from the heritage sector and NGOs and others. You can also find upcoming events and news. For more please ‘like’ our Facebook page or follow us on Twitter.
